One Phone Call Can Make a Difference
Phone calls are a great way to get legislators to stand up and take notice. You don't need to memorize a script to make an effective call. Your call can be as simple as this:
- state your name and where you live
- say that you are calling to let [name of official] know of your opposition to
the current plans for the area in Pearl River known as Hillside Commercial
Park.
- add that you hope [name of official] will support residents in this matter.
